Conditions For Exemptions From Restrictions On Employing Women Workers During Night Shifts In State Of Madhya Pradesh

The Government of Madhya Pradesh, vide Notification No. 1283/443/2022/A-16, exempted all the shops and establishments from the applicability of provision related to working hours of women between 9.00 P.M. to 7.00 A.M, subject to the prescribed conditions including the prevention of acts of sexual harassment, complaint redressal mechanism, prior consent from women workers for such employment, etc. Please refer to the notification for more details

Goa

Grant Of Paid Holiday On Account Of General Election In Goa

The Government of Goa, vide Notification No. 2/1/2017-GAD-III/2691, declared Wednesday, the 10th of August 2022 as a public holiday on account of the general elections in 186 village panchayats throughout the State. The eligible workers of private establishments, who are the voters of the said Village Panchayats, shall be provided paid leave on the day of polling.
