Haryana

Order On Lock-down In Territorial Jurisdictions Of Revenue Districts In Gurugram To Stop Spread Of COVID-19

Government Of Haryana lock-down in the territorial jurisdiction of revenue districts of Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat, Panipat, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Panchkula from 9 pm on Sunday 22nd March 2020 to 31st March 2020, stipulating the following restrictions: i. No public transport services including operation of taxis, auto- rickshaws will be permitted. The exception will include transport of all kinds to and from hospitals, airports, railway station, bus terminals/ bus stands and for the purpose essential services. ii. All shops, commercial establishments, offices and factories, workshops, godowns etc. shall close their operations except for essential services mentioned in Para below. iii. All foreign returnees are directed to remain under strict home quarantine for a period as decided by local Health Authorities. iv. People are required to stay at home and come out only for basic services while strictly following social distancing guidelines issued earlier. West Bengal

Announcement Of Safety Restriction In West Bengal To Stop The Spread Of COVID-19

Government Of West Bengal has imposed complete safety restrictions w.e.f. 16:00 hrs of 23rd march 2020 to 24:00 hrs of 27th march 2020 in urban and rural areas. All shops commercial establishments, offices and factories workshops, godowns etc. shall close their operations. No public transport services including operations of taxis/auto rickshaws etc. shall be permitted except transport of all kinds to and from hospitals, airports, railway stations, bus terminals/bus stands and good carriers carrying food and essential commodities. All Inter-state commercial transport shall be closed. Any gathering of more than seven persons in public places shall be prohibited. People are required to stay at home and come out only for essential services and that too one member of a family at a time and strictly following social distancing guidelines issued earlier. However these restriction shall not be applicable on the following essential services. Please refer the notification for detailed information

Announcement Of Lock-down In The State Of Telangana To Stop The Spread Of COVID-19

The Government of Telangana hereby notifies a lock down in the whole State of Telangana with immediate effect till 31st March, 2020 . All shops, commercial establishments, offices, factories,workshops, godowns etc. shall close their operations. However, production and manufacturing units which require continuous process such as pharmaceuticals, API etc. may function. Further, manufacturing units engaged in production of essential commodities like dal and rice mills, food and related units, dairy units, feed and fodder units etc. will also be permitted to operate. Subject to the exceptions mentioned below: a) Banks/ATMs and related activities.b) Print and electronic media, c) IT and ITeS, including telecom, postal and internet Services, d) Supply chain and transport of essential commodities e) E-Commerce (delivery) of essential goods including food, pharmaceutical and medical equipment, f) Sale of food items, groceries, milk, bread, fruits, vegetables, eggs, meat, fish and their transportation and warehousing activities, g) Take-away/ home delivery at restaurants, h) Hospitals, optical stores, diagnostic centres, pharmaceuticals manufacturing and their transportation, i) Petrol pumps, LPG gas, oil agencies, their godowns and their related transport operations, j) All security services including those provided by private agencies, k) Private establishments that support the provisioning of essential services or the efforts for containment of COVID-19 l) Airports and related services. In addition mentioned Departments/Offices of the State Government shall be fully functional) District Collectorate/Divisional offices/Mandal Offices b) Police c) Health d) Urban Local Bodies/Panchayatraj institutions e) Fire f) Taxation, Excise, Commercial Tax, Transport, Stamps and Registration g) Electricity and water supply h) Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Agricultural Marketing i) Civil Supplies j) Regulatory departments like Pollution Control Board, Legal Metrology, Drug Control Administration etc. k) All Central Government departments related to the above. Extension Of Last Date For Filing Of Unified Annual Return Under Eight Labour Laws

Government Of India, Ministry of Labour and Employment, in view of the spread of Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19), the last date of filing of Unified Online Annual Returns for the year 2019 under eight Acts and ten central Rules is extended up to 30th April 2020.The jurisdictional authority is advised to not take any legal action for non-filing of Annual Returns for the year 2019 against such establishments

Press Release On Advice To EPFO Members To Avail Online Services Of EPFO On Account Of COVID-19

Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) vide press release advises it members, pensioners and employers to avail various online services offered by EPFO, from the comfort of their homes, and to avoid visiting EPFO offices. Most of the services of EPFO are available online. An employee can generate his/her own Universal Account Number (UAN), activate his/her UAN and seed it with Aadhaar, PAN, Bank Account and mobile number (KYC seeding). Employee can also make nominations, view balance in the passbook, update his/her date of exit, transfer his/her account from unexempted to exempted establishment and vice-versa. Employees have been further empowered to raise claims online for Provident Fund advances or final withdrawal; pension or Insurance benefits (EDLI) and receive payment of PF/Pension/Insurance benefits directly in his/her bank account. Similarly, a pensioner can download his/her Pension Payment Order (PPO) or preserve it in Digi locker; know his PPO number with the help of his/her bank account number or UAN and view passbook. Pensioners can also update Jeevan Praman (Digital Life Certificate) online any time of the year. Employers can register their establishments under EPF & MP Act, 1952 and obtain establishment ID; make payment of EPF and allied dues through RTGS/NEFT and submit Electronic Challan cum Return (ECR). Employers have also been facilitated to avail e-inspections of their establishments. In case employees, employers and pensioners have any grievance they can get them resolved online through EPFigms portal. The details of these services and facilities are available at www.epfindia.gov.in. These facilities are available also on UMANG App. of Government of India, so one can access these online services from his/her mobile too on UMANG App

One-time Relaxation For Employers On Filing Of ESI Contribution For The Contribution Period April 2019 To September 2019

ESIC vide circular No.P-11/12/Misc/SST Misuse/2019-Rev. II and under one time relaxation to employers has extended time of filing contribution up to 15th of May 2020 for the contribution period April 2019 to September 2019 within forty two days after the end of contribution period. Therefore one time relaxation is limited to the contribution period ending September 2019 only and such relaxation is not extended to other older or new contribution period
