The Kerala Minimum Wages Notification (June 2019)
Government of Kerala, Labour and Skills (E) Department has revised the variable dearness allowance for employment in Shops and Commercial Establishment and employment in Computer Software Sector. As per the Notification No.P3.Pdl.1/2019/DES, the Consumer Price Index (Cost of Living Index) Numbers applicable to employees in employment under the Minimum Wages Act (Central Act XI of 1948) for the month of June 2019 are as ascertained by the Director General of Economics & Statistics under clause (C) of Section 2 of the Act
Puducherry
Introduction Of Online System Under Various Provisions Of Puducherry Factories Rules, 1964
Government of Puducherry vide notification no G.O. Ms. No. 07/2019/Lab has amended the puducherry factories rules by introducing online system for approval of site, construction or extension of a factory, registration, renewal and amendment of license through the web portal of the Chief Inspectorate of Factories and Boilers, Puducherry. The amendment also allows maintenance of returns in electronic form through the on-line portal of the Chief Inspectorate of Factories and Boiler or personally delivered to the Office of the Chief Inspectorate of Factories and Boilers. The amendment further states that all the books, registers and records required to be maintained under the said rules, stipulated under the Factories Act, 1948 shall at the discretion of the occupier/manager may be maintained in electronic form

The Himachal Pradesh Minimum Wages Notification (April 2019)
The Government of Himachal Pradesh vide notification No. Shram (A)4-2/2018-Part-II has released the minimum wages for the State of Himachal Pradesh effective 1st April 2019
Maharashtra
The Maharashtra Minimum Wages VDA Notification (July 2019)
Government of Maharashtra has released revised minimum rates of wages (variable dearness allowance) effective 24th July 2019 which will be valid till 31st December 2019. Earlier Government Of Maharashtra vide notification No.MWA-1015/418/CR-140/LAB-7 had introduced revised basic rates of wage effective from 24th July 2019 for shops and establishment in the state
Chhattisgarh
Amendment To The Chhattisgarh Shops And Commercial Establishment Rules, 1959
Government of Chhattisgarh vide notification No. F 10-5/2019/16 has amended the Chhattisgarh Shops and Commercial Establishment Rules 1959. As per the amendment, the provision for renewal of registration certificate has been omitted and the the registration Certificate granted shall remain valid till the date of closure as notified by the employer. It is further provided that all the employers who have obtained registration before 25th June 2014 shall compulsorily obtain registration after the amendment of these rules and the same shall be issued on payment of the newly prescribe fees .Please refer the notification for detailed information

Amendment To The Chhattisgarh Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Rules, 1963
Government of Chhattisgarh vide notification No. F 10-4/2019/16 has amended the Chhattisgarh Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Rules, 1963. As per the amendment the retirement age of employees has been raised from 58 to 60 years under the Chhattisgarh Industrial Employment (Standing Order) Rules, 1963. Government of Odisha vide notification no S.R.O. No. 267/2019 has exempted all shops and establishment from renewal of registration under the Orissa shops and commercial establishment Rule 1958

The Meghalaya Minimum Wages Notification (April 2019)
As per notification no LBG 75/2012/Pt/375 the Government of Meghalaya has declared the minimum rates of wages in the territory of Meghalaya effective 1st April 2019
Telangana
Government of Telangana vide notification no G.O.Ms.No. 25 hereby exempt all Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) and Information Technology Establishments in Telangana State from the provisions of opening and closing hours and daily or weekly hours of work and special provisions for young person, special provision for women and other holidays under the Telangana Shops and Establishments Act, 1988 for a period of five (5) years with effect from 30.05.2018, subject to the following conditions mentioned herein notifications
Telangana
Telangana Shops Permitted To Remain Open 365 Days A Year Extended To Three Years
Government of Telangana vide notification no G.O.Ms.No. 24, in reference to previous notification G.O.Ms.No.51, L.E.T. & F. (Lab) Department dated 16th June 2016, has further exempted all establishments to keep open on all the days of the year in Telangana State for a further period of three (3) years with effect from 16.06.2019 and subject to conditions mentioned in notification fulfilled by the establishments failing which exemption granted will be liable for cancellation
