Government of Kerala, Labour and Skills (E) Department has revised the variable dearness allowance for employment in Shops and Commercial Establishment and employment in Computer Software Sector. As per the Notification No.P3.Pdl.1/2019/DES, the Consumer Price Index (Cost of Living Index) Numbers applicable to employees in employment under the Minimum Wages Act (Central Act XI of 1948) for the month of January 2019 are as ascertained by the Director General of Economics & Statistics under clause (C) of Section 2 of the Act

Government Of Uttarakhand Vide notification no 309/VIII/19-228(Labour)/2001-Part-II has revised the basic rates of wage for shops and establishment in the state. This notification revises the basic rates currently existing and a new dearness allowance notification may be released which would be calculated to arrive at the final Minimum rates of wages effective April 2019 in the state of Uttarakhand
Government of Haryana vide notification No. Leg.18/2019 has amended sub-section (1) of section 9A of the Punjab Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965. As per the amendment, each employee shall contribute to the Fund every month an amount equal to zero point two percent of his salary or wages or any remuneration subject to a limit of rupees twenty-five and each employer in respect of each such employee shall contribute to the Fund every month, twice the amount contributed by such employee. Provided that the limit specified above shall be indexed annually to the consumer price index beginning from first of January each year
