The Government of Goa, vide Notification No. 2/1/2017-GAD-III/2691, declared Wednesday, the 10th of August 2022 as a public holiday on account of the general elections in 186 village panchayats throughout the State. The eligible workers of private establishments, who are the voters of the said Village Panchayats, shall be provided paid leave on the day of polling. Please refer to the notification for more details
