The Government of Tripura Vide F.21(45)-LAB/ENF/MISC/2024/2453-54,has deleted the Section 16 of The Tripura Shops and Establishments Act, 1970 (referred to as the Principal Act) vide The Tripura Shops and Establishments (Fifth Amendment) Act, 2021 (Notl{ication No.F 8(3)Lawr Leg-ll2021 (P) Dated. Agartala the 15rh Mtay, 2021) to comply with the purpose of Ease of doing Business in the State. Henceforth, no shopkeeper or employer is required to apply for registration of his shop or establishment under this Act. Please refer memorandum for more details.
