Consolidated Annual Return And Integrated Register Under Various Labour Laws In Puducherry

The Lieutenant Governor, Puducherry vide order no. G.O Ms. No.6/AIL/Lab/G/2021 has introduced consolidated annual return and integrated register under ease of doing business as formulated under various labour laws such as (1) The Contract Labour (Regulation And Abolition) Act, 1970, (2) The Puducherry Shops And Establishments Act, 1964, (3) The Payment Of Wages Act, 1936, (4) The Minimum Wages Act, 1948, (5) The Maternity Benefit Act, 1961, (6) The Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, (7) The Payment Of Bonus Act, 1965, (8) The Payment of gratuity Act, 1972, (9) The Motor Transport Workers Act, 1961, (10) The Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1979, (11) The Motor Transport Workers Act, 1961. As per the order, employer shall file online common periodical return to be filed under Form I for the financial year ending 31st March and integrated register in Form II and Form III. Therefore, employer shall take a note that annual return shall be furnished for the end of the financial year 31st March on or before 30th April or on the date so specified under any act or rule of the succeeding year.
