The Government of India, vide Notification S.O. 1426(E), implemented the provisions towards Chapter IV (Contribution), Chapter V (Benefits), and Chapter VI (Adjudication of Disputes and Claims) of The Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 (ESI Act) effective from 1st April 2023, in East Khasi Hills and Ri-Bhoi districts in the State of Meghalaya.
