The new Transparent Inspection Scheme provides for exemption of low risk Factories from Labour compliance inspections under all Labour Laws. New criteria for Inspection has been established and hazards have been divided into three levels. There will be a preparation of quarterly list of inspection of factories/establishments by a randomly generated computerized system. Inspecting officer shall give fifteen days notice prior to the date of inspection to the management along-with the checklist for the inspection (also available online). The inspection report shall be prepared and uploaded within forty eight hours from the date of completion of inspection.
