The Government of Goa vide notification no. 7/12/2020-LA dated 12th October 2020  has repealed  The Industrial Disputes (Goa Amendment) Ordinance, 2020 with ordinary legislation to be known as The Industrial Disputes (Goa Amendment) Act, 2020. As per the ordinance the time limit for submission of the application to labour court or tribunal, in case of dismissal of an individual workman which may be deemed to be an industrial dispute, has been reduced from three years to one year from the date of dismissal, retrenchment, discharge or termination of service as per provisions of the Act.
