PRESS RELEASE REGARDING INDIA AND SINGAPORE TO LINK THEIR FAST PAYMENT SYSTEM - UNIFIED PAYMENTS INTERFACE AND PAY NOW (DATED - 14.09.2021)

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) announce a project to link their respective fast payment systems viz. Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and Pay Now. The linkage is targeted for operationalization by July 2022.
