The Directorate General of Foreign Trade vide notification no.34/2025-26 has amended the import policy for specific jewelly items. The import policy for ITC (HS) codes 71131141 and 71131149 has been changed from "Free" to "Restricted" with immediate effect till 31st Mar 2026. This notification is yet to be published in the Gazette. Please refer the notification for more details.
