The Securities and Exchange Board of India vide notification no. F.No. SEBI/LAD-NRO/GN/2025/254 amended regulation 4 (Eligibility criteria of foreign portfolio investor) and regulation 22 (General obligations and responsibilities of foreign portfolio investors) under the SEBI (Foreign Portfolio Investors) Regulations, 2019.
