1. Short Title, Commencement & Applicability: a. These Regulations may be called Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (Minimum Information Required for Investigation and Inspection) Regulations, 2020. These Regulations shall come into force after six months from the date of its publication in the official Gazette of the Government of India. c. Unless otherwise mentioned herein, these Regulations are applicable to all Insurers and Intermediaries or Insurance Intermediaries, as defined under the Act or IRDA Act, 1999, for the purpose of investigation and inspection by the Authority.
