The Securities and Exchange Board of India vide circular no. SEBI/HO/MIRSD/PODFATF/P/CIR/2025/123 stated that framework is necessary to deal with voluntary exits by KRAs due to business decisions and involuntary exits triggered by financial distress or regulatory action.
