The Securities and Exchange Board of India vide circular no. SEBI/HO/MRD/POD-III/CIR/P/2025/112 directs MIIs to implement independent penalty appeal mechanisms through Governing Boards with external experts, effective 45 days from 05th August 2025. Please refer the circular for more details.
