The Insurance Regulatory Development Authority vide circular no.IRDAI/RBC/CIR/MISC/94/8/2025 required all insurers to conduct the Second Quantitative Impact Study (QIS 2) using data as of 31st March 2025, and submit results by15th October 2025, as a key step towards implementing the Risk Based Capital framework.
