The Securities and Exchange Board of India vide circular no. SEBI/HO/AFD/AFD-PoD-3/P/CIR/2025/127 announced that foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) investing solely in government securities under the fully accessible route will no longer be required to provide investor group details.
