The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs vide circular no.252/09/2025 -GST will now use a verifiable issue number from their eOffice application as the official Document Identification Number (DIN) for communications to taxpayers. This eliminates the need for a separate DIN on these documents. Please refer the circular for more details.
