These guidelines aim to: (a) To provide guidance on waste preprocessing practices, technology configuration, emissions control, ash handling, and leachate management measures. (b) To ensure that WtE plants set up in the country are aligned with the provisions of Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016. Please refer to the guidelines for more details.
