1. Short title and commencement. — (1) These regulations may be called as the Motor Vehicles (Driving) (Amendment) Regulations, 2020. (2) These regulations shall come into force with effect from 1st October, 2020. 2. In the Motor Vehicles (Driving) Regulations, 2017 (hereinafter referred as the said regulations), in regulation 37, after sub-regulation (1), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely: - “Provided that such use is solely for route navigation by fixing the device on the dashboard of the vehicle in such a manner that shall not disturb the concentration of the driver while driving.”.
