1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Drugs and Cosmetics (Amendment) Rules, 2021. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945(hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in rule 3A in sub-rule (7), for the words “Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeia Laboratory, Ghaziabad”, the words and brackets “Pharmacopoeia Commission of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy at Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh)” shall be substituted. 3. In the said rules, for rule 163A, and the heading before it, the following heading and rules shall be substituted , namely:
