1. Short title.﹘ (1) These rules may be called the Cosmetics Rules, 2020. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Application.- These rules shall be applicable to the cosmetic as defined in clause (aaa) of section 3 of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 (23 of 1940).
