All authorised officers are hereby directed to facilitate import of clove stem by ensuring compliance to the horizontal safety parameters and half the value of "Volatile Oil Content" i.e. Not less than 8.5 percent by v/w, as prescribed for cloves (Laund) whole in regulation 2.9.6 (1) of FSS (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Regulation, 2011, refer attachment for further details.
