Whereas the Clause (1.2) of Regulation (1) of the said 5th Amendment Regulations provides that the Regulations shall come into force from the date to be separately notified by the Commission, And now, therefore, it is hereby notified as under: 5th Amendment Regulations except Clause 9.1 of the 5th Amendment Regulations [amending Regulation 8 of CERC (Open Access in inter-State Transmission) Regulations, 2008, hereinafter referred to as the “Principal Regulations”] shall come into force with effect from 01.05.2022. The short term open access applicants may apply for registration in NOAR prior to 1.5.2022 in accordance with the detailed procedure Corresponding provisions of the Principal Regulations existing prior to coming into force of 5th Amendment Regulations shall continue to be in operation for applications of short term open access or Standing clearance received till 30.04.2022, which shall be processed under such existing provisions of the Principal Regulations. Under Section 6 of The General Clauses Act, 1897, Detailed Procedures issued under Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations existing prior to coming into force of 5th Amendment Regulations shall continue to be in operation till further Orders, refer attachment for further details.
