Notification regarding MoEFCC Amends Water Act Notification for "White Category" Industries

The MoEFCC, in consultation with the CPCB, has updated its regulations for "White Category" industries under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. The "White Category" now includes all industrial sectors, projects, processes, or activities with a pollution index score up to 25. This is based on an updated Schedule reflecting CPCB's "Classification-2025." Please refer to the notification for more details.
