Government of India(S.O. 1226(E))The Indian Boilers (Amendment) Act, 2007Dated. 27.5.2008NotificationIn exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Indian Boilers (Amendment) Act, 2007 (49 of 2007), the Central Government hereby appoints the 27th day of May, 2008 as the date on which the following provisions of the said Act shall come into force, namely:-  1. Section 2; 2. sub-section(1), sub-section (2) and clauses (cce) and (ccf) of sub-section (4) and sub-section (5), sub-sections (6) and (7) of Section 3; 3. Section 4; 4. Section 5 insofar as it relates to Section 4-A of the Principal Act; 5. Clause (b) of Section 8; 6. Clause (a) of Section 9; 7. Section 10; 8. Section 15; 9. Clause (a) of Section 16; 10. Section 17; 11. section 20 to section 26: 12. Clauses (ii) to (v) of Section 27; 13. Section 28; and 14. Section 29.
