1. Short Title and commencement. - (1) These rules may be called the Central Motor Vehicles (Seventh Amendment) Rules, 2021. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their final publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules) in rule 47, in sub-rule (1), after clause (l), the following clause shall be inserted, namely: - “ (m) proof of identity of nominee, in case nominee is mentioned.”; 3. In the said rules, in rule 55, in sub-rule (2), after clause (iii), the following clause shall be inserted, namely: -
