The Government of Uttar Pradesh vide Notification No. 1089/XXXVI-03-2022-14(Sa.)/2019, proposed the draft Uttar Pradesh Dookan Aur Vanijya Adhishthan (Navam Sanshodhan) Niyamawali, 2022, amending the provisions on the procedure registration and renewal of license. The Government of Haryana vide Notification No. F.W./Election-2022 19470, exempted the workers, enrolled as voters in Ward No. 08 (booth numbers 13 & 14) of Municipal Committee, Safidon, Jind District, from the operation of Section 52(1) of the Factories Act, 1948, regarding weekly holidays, for the week commencing from June 26, 2022, till July 02, 2022, on account of general elections in the said Ward, to be held on June 24, 2022. The Government of Punjab vide notification No.21/07/2015-5L/77 declared paid holiday on account of bye-elections to be held on June 23, 2022, in Sangrur, Barnala, Malerkotla District.
