The Kerala Minimum Wages Notification (February 2019)

Government of Kerala, Labour and Skills (E) Department has revised the variable dearness allowance for employment in Shops and Commercial Establishment and employment in Computer Software Sector. As per the Notification No.P3.Pdl.1/2019/DES, the Consumer Price Index (Cost of Living Index) Numbers applicable to employees in employment under the Minimum Wages Act (Central Act XI of 1948) for the month of February 2019 are as ascertained by the Director General of Economics & Statistics under clause (C) of Section 2 of the Act

Amendment To Single Integrated Online Return For Labour And Factories And Boiler Inspection Department In Rajasthan

Government of Rajasthan vide circular no F-1(8)(1)EoDB/IR/Labour/2016/9484 and in continuation of the previous office order dated 11/10/2017 has extended list of labour laws for Integrated Online Return for Labour and Factories & Boiler Inspection Department On LDCMS and RajFab Web Portal. The list of labour laws mentioned are The Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, The Maternity Benefit Act, 1961, The Building Or other Construction Workers Welfare Cess Act, 1996, The Employee State Insurance Act, 1948

Declaration Of Holiday For Factories,Shops And Establishments And Industrial Undertakings In The State Of Telangana On The Occasion Of Election Day

Government Of Telangana in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Telangana Factories and Establishments (National, Festival and Other Holidays) Act, 1974 (Act No.32/1974) and the Telangana Shops & Establishments Act, 1988 (Act No.20/1988), read with the provisions laid down in Section 135-B of the Representation of Peoples Act, 1951, has declared paid holiday to all the employees / workers working in the Factories, Shops & Establishments and Industrial Undertakings / Establishments on the day of poling i.e., 11.04.2019 (Thursday) so as to enable the electorate to exercise their vote for the General Elections to House of the People (Lok Sabha), 2019 in one phase for 17 Parliamentary Constituencies of all Districts of the Telangana State, as the case may be, if there is no holiday

ESIC Circular On Enhancement Of Funeral Expenses Towards Amendment Of Employees' State Insurance (Central) Rules, 1950

ESIC vide letter No.R-15/13/2000-Bft.II has directed to Insurance Commissioners to refer notification of Government Of India, Ministry of Labour and Employment bearing no S-65012/01/2018-SS-I dated 01.03.2019 regarding amendment in Rule 59 of ESI(central) Rules. The Tamil Nadu Minimum Wages Dearness Allowance Notification (March 2019)

Government of Tamil Nadu vide notification No.Z3/7657/2019 has revised the dearness allowance payable to the class of employees in the employment in shops and commercial establishments in the state of Tamil Nadu. This Dearness allowance needs to be added along with the Basic rates published earlier and will be effective from the date of publishing of the basic notification, i.e. 5th March 2019
