Declaration Of Paid Holiday On Occasion Of Delhi Legislative Assembly Election
Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi vide notification No.F.15(02)/Lab/G.E/2020/381-386 has declared paid holiday on 08th February 2020 that is Saturday for all employees working in different establishments, factories and other establishment in National Capital Territory of Delhi. Thereby all employers are directed to grant one day paid holiday on occasion of Delhi Legislative Assembly Election to enable the electors cast their vote, if the day of polling is a working day

Government of Kerala, Labour and Skills (E) Department has revised the variable dearness allowance for employment in Shops and Commercial Establishment and employment in Computer Software Sector. As per the Notification No.P3.Pdl.1/2020/DES, the Consumer Price Index (Cost of Living Index) Numbers applicable to employees in employment under the Minimum Wages Act (Central Act XI of 1948) for the month of November 2019 are as ascertained by the Director General of Economics & Statistics under clause (C) of Section 2 of the Act

Declaration Of Paid Holiday On Occasion Of Municipality And Municipal Corporation Election
Government of Telangana vide notification no G.O.RT.No.27 has declared paid holiday on 22nd January 2020 or 24th January 2020 as the case maybe to all the employees / workers working in the Factories, Shops & Establishments and Industrial Undertakings / Establishments located in the areas notified by the Telangana Sate Election Commission vide notification No.3038/TSEC-ULBs/2019, dated 07.01.2020 and vide notification No.3038/TSEC-ULBs/2019, dated 09.01.2020, so as to enable the electorate to exercise their vote on the day of polling for the ordinary elections to the Municipalities and Municipal Corporations, as the case may be, if there is no existing holiday on the given day. Tripura Factories (Seventh Amendment) Rules, 2019
The Government of Tripura vide notification No.F. 2(345)/FB/EoDB(Vol-II)/2015(Part)/5005 has amended Rule 24 of the Tripura Factories Rules 2007. As per the amendment, if any complaint is received directly in respect of any factory, the powers of the inspectors to conduct any other surprise inspection or complaint inspection is subject to having prior permission from the Head of Department, in writing . Circular On Offline Payment Of Labour Welfare Fund Contribution In Haryana
The Government of Haryana, vide circular No:HLWB/REVE/380-591 with reference to receipt not being generated in certain cases in the department website, has decided that receipts of all contribution shall be accepted from concerned establishment through offline mode till the website run smoothly and draft shall be issued in favour of Welfare Commissioner Haryana payable at Panchakula. Therefore, date of such offline receipts will be uploaded in online mode and BIP no of each establishment is compulsory for accepting such receipts. The data of such contributions shall be accepted in enclosed format. Please refer format attached in the circular

EPFO Circular On Auto-Settlement Of Online Form 31 And Other Claims
EPFO vide circular No NDC/13(12)2019/Auto Settlement/29 has introduced pilot project of auto settlement (partial) of Form 31(Illness) through EPFO application software at RO-Delhi (South), RO-Delhi (West), RO-Gurgaon, RO-Bandra, RO-Khandivali, RO-Thane, RO, Karnal and RO-Pune. All claims will be processed from 8.00 pm to 8.00 am by the system and system would validate the claims received online (Form 31) and filter for auto processing. In order to facilitate the claims processing and enabling the approving authorities with an insight in relation to a claim and thereby supporting them to take due caution while dealing with such claims based on such observations system will pre-validate Form-19, 10C, 31, 20, 5(IF) on certain parameters. The pre-validation would be implemented in the remaining offices in due course by the EPFO after the pilot results. Please refer circular for detailed information

Extension Of Time Period For ESIC Contribution In Union Territory Of Jammu And Kashmir
ESIC vide notification No. P-11/12/Misc./1/2019 (M) - Rev.II, has extended the time limit to file and deposit monthly contribution / submit Return till 29th February 2020 by an employer of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for the contribution period ending September 2019 in view of the ban / restriction on Internet Services in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The payment of contribution will be accepted only through online mode, no other mode of payment will be accepted. Please refer the notification for further details
